AI enabled virtual first mate

The first from a portfolio of intelligent situational awareness technologies will be part of a smart network for ensuring safety and security under way or on the hook.

The modular Watch-Keeper system will be offered at both premier grade and utility grade levels enabling customers to selectively balance function and features against  overall system costs, and to ensure affordability across the spectrum of boating and yachting enthusiasts.

Situational Awareness

  • Our smart sensors are integrated with (optional) long-range mesh network connectivity providing for integration of distributed smart-sensors throughout the vessel and for seamless remote control of on-board systems, as well as, lighting and on-shore infrastructure on approach to, or departure from, the dock.
  • Elevated camera systems with digital and optical zoom and low-light and thermal imaging options provide the awareness of a trusted lookout perched high on the mast equipped with night-vision capable binoculars and ready to shout the alarm
  • Increase your awareness of other vessels and debris, locate and track navigational markers or simply monitor the seas ahead for wildlife or for reading the wind off the water surface.
  •  Whatever the situation, we heighten your awareness.  

Safety

  • Collision Avoidance – Artificial Intelligence capabilities provide alerting of other vessels in proximity for enhanced collision avoidance when under way or for automated warning of dragging neighbors when at anchor. 
  • Overboard Alerts – Our wearable audio communications sensors, integrate with deck or stanchion mounted camera systems for automated warning of potential overboard events — cutting critical elapsed time for awareness, response and rescue. Wearable sensors, detect the instant that a person goes over and provide for time-correlated video verification through AI-enabled “human” tracking software to review exactly where the crew or guest when over the rail. 

Security

  • Reduce anxiety about leaving your vessel unattended OR about spending the night moored in unfamiliar settings.
  • Our AI-enabled sensor network monitors your vessel and its surroundings to provide early warning (and optionally active deterrent response) for persons, pests, or maritime threats when approaching, landing or boarding the vessel.  Whether you are worried about theft or concerned about uninvited guests, our system keeps a lookout, alerting you whether you are sleeping on board or away on shore for a night on the town.
  • Our sensor network can monitor the dock, the deck and aloft for nuisance pests or potential health concerns from birds, animals or rodent activity.  From generating automated alerts for awareness and intervention, to activation of active deterrent and mitigation technologies (in the future) our system helps protect your boat and crew and helps prevent damage from nesting, gnawing or simply “messing about”
